The Accessibility permission was designed for people with disabilities, but malware exploits it to take total control of your phone.
What Can Accessibility Do?
- Read screen content — including OTP codes, passwords
- Auto-tap buttons — approve transactions without your knowledge
- Take screenshots — record everything
- Control other apps — open banking apps, transfer money
When to Be Suspicious?
If a newly installed app (especially .apk files outside Play Store) asks to enable Accessibility → IT'S MALWARE.
Rule
NEVER grant Accessibility to unknown apps. Only enable for trusted apps like official screen readers.
