How does Deepfake work?
Scammers collect public images, videos, voices of victims on Facebook, TikTok. Then use AI tools to recreate faces and voices in real-time.
Signs to identify
- Calls usually very short (under 1 minute).
- Poor video quality, blurry, often using excuse "weak network".
- Face less expressive, less blinking or unnatural mouth movement.
- Request transfer to strange account.
Prevention
Ask personal questions only two people know, or call back using regular phone number to verify.
