Brandname SMS from "Vietcombank", "Shopee", "Grab" appear right in genuine message threads. But not all are real. Here's how to tell in just 5 seconds.
Step 1: Check for LINKS
The simplest rule: Genuine Brandname bank messages NEVER contain links. If the SMS has a link (https://...) → It's fake.
Step 2: Check the Context
Genuine messages relate to transactions you just made (balance changes, OTP). Fake messages create unexpected situations: "Account locked", "Prize won", "Security upgrade".
Step 3: Check the Domain
If you still want to check the link (DON'T click), look at the domain:
